1. Components and scope

These conditions concern only Microsoft's unmodified Visual C++ x64 runtime
object-code files listed below (Microsoft Code), file version 14.44.35211.0.
Each occurs in bin/ and bin/windows-studio/ of the AxolDB Windows application.

AxolDB first-party software remains under the AxolDB Developer Preview License
0.1 in AXOLDB-LICENSE.txt. Other bundled components keep their independent terms.
The separate MIT Skill packages are outside these conditions. No Visual Studio
IDE license or entitlement is granted. Recipients do not need Community developer
eligibility merely to run the supplied AxolDB application under these conditions.

2. Explicit acceptance on the official website

Before downloading the Windows application from axoldb.com, read these conditions
and the AxolDB Developer Preview License. Select the unchecked acceptance controls
for both documents and submit the acceptance step. That action expresses your
agreement to the displayed versions of those documents for the selected package.
If you do not agree, do not submit acceptance or download the Windows application.

The website records an acceptance event and issues a short-lived authorization
for that package and those versions. This is not a claim that every later person
receiving a copy has accepted these conditions. Another recipient must separately
obtain any required rights and agreement; receipt, installation or use alone is
not represented here as an acceptance event recorded by the publisher.

3. Limited object-code permission and reserved rights

Subject to compliance with these conditions, you may use the Microsoft Code only
as the supplied unmodified runtime supporting your permitted use of AxolDB. The
Microsoft Code is licensed, not sold. Microsoft and its suppliers retain ownership
and all rights not expressly granted. No Microsoft source code or standalone
runtime offering is licensed here. Preserve all Microsoft and supplier notices.
Do not rent, lease or offer the Microsoft Code separately from the application.

Comply with technical restrictions. Do not bypass them or reverse engineer,
decompile, disassemble or derive source from the Microsoft Code, except where
nonwaivable law or separately applicable component license terms permit it.
Do not remove, obscure or alter Microsoft or supplier notices, and do not use the
Microsoft Code unlawfully.

4. Further distribution

These conditions alone do not authorize redistribution of AxolDB. A distributor
separately authorized by the publisher may distribute the Microsoft Code only
unmodified as part of that authorized application with significant independent
functionality. Preserve these conditions and notices, and require each further
distributor and external end user to agree to conditions protecting the Microsoft
Code at least as much as these conditions. No standalone resale, sublicense of
the IDE, unrestricted runtime distribution or conversion to an open source grant
is authorized. Do not impose conditions requiring disclosure of the Microsoft
Code's source or granting others rights to modify it. The Skill MIT license does
not apply to these runtime files. Independently applicable third-party permissions
and the MIT rights in the separate Skill packages remain unaffected.

5. Released files, trademarks and lawful use

Permission concerns only the identified released runtime files. It does not cover
Microsoft files marked Preview, Pre-release or Beta, or excluded debug components.
Do not use Microsoft's names or marks to imply that AxolDB is a Microsoft product
or endorsed by Microsoft. Comply with applicable domestic and international export
restrictions and other laws governing destinations, recipients and use.

6. Support, warranty and liability

The Microsoft Code is supplied as is. Microsoft and its suppliers make no express
promises of support, warranty, guarantee or conditions. To the extent local law
allows, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
and noninfringement are excluded. To that extent, recovery from Microsoft and its
suppliers is limited to direct damages up to USD 5, and excludes consequential,
lost-profit, special, indirect, incidental and other damages. The limitations
apply regardless of the legal theory of the claim, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing here represents a Microsoft warranty or support undertaking.

7. Mandatory rights and compliance

Nonwaivable consumer rights, mandatory liabilities, and rights under a separately
applicable component license remain unaffected. A restriction or limitation in
these conditions applies only as far as applicable law permits. Nothing purports
to waive mandatory remedies, including those concerning intentional misconduct,
gross negligence, product liability, death or personal injury where law preserves
them. AxolDB's own license and independent component terms govern their own scopes.
If you do not comply, the permissions in these conditions do not authorize your
use or further distribution of the Microsoft Code. Rights not granted are reserved.
