Install agent Skills

Architect 0.1.1 and Operator 0.1.5 are selected as separate ZIP assets accompanying v0.1.0-developer-preview. Their first-party text and accompanying files use MIT, copyright 2026 Aleksandar Bakalov. AxolDB product licensing is unchanged. Use the official download page for availability. MIT Skills do not require AxolDB product or Windows CRT acceptance, an account or an email.

Installation

1. Download the chosen ZIP and adjacent .sha256 from the same release. Verify its SHA-256 against that sidecar or aggregate SHA256SUMS before extracting. Linux: sha256sum --check <archive>.zip.sha256. Windows PowerShell: Get-FileHash <archive>.zip -Algorithm SHA256, then compare the sidecar value.
2. Extract the ZIP. It contains one top-level axoldb-architect/ or axoldb-operator/ directory, with SKILL.md, references/, LICENSE, README.md, package-metadata.json and MANIFEST.sha256. Verify the complete internal manifest (sha256sum --check --strict MANIFEST.sha256 inside that directory on Linux).
3. Use the agent consumer’s documented Skill installer to select the whole directory, or copy that directory into its configured Skill search directory. The expected layout is <skill-search-directory>/axoldb-architect/SKILL.md or <skill-search-directory>/axoldb-operator/SKILL.md, with adjacent references/. Keep all files together and preserve any existing modified installation before replacement. There is no universal install command/path across consumers.
4. Refresh/restart discovery as that consumer requires. Confirm the registered name and inspect metadata.version in SKILL.md. Each ZIP includes a full installation README and separately identifies frozen instructions versus packaging additions.

Architect provides advice; installation does not authorize execution. Operator needs a separately installed AxolDB CLI/target and explicit authority for effects. Skill installation supplies no database, credential or permission. Discover actual installed capabilities before use; a Skill version does not establish a minimum product build.

Acceptance and terms

All nine accepted instruction/reference files are unchanged. Operator retains 16/16 selected mandatory scenarios PASS. Architect retains owner acceptance with A04 exception, strict 11 PASS / 1 FAIL; that answer omitted an explicit event-sourcing comparison required by its frozen rubric. No agent campaign was repeated for adding LICENSE, README, metadata and manifest. No new consumer/model/platform compatibility claim follows from packaging. See Preview limits.

The ZIPs contain only first-party text and accompanying files, with MIT terms. Preserve the copyright/license notice when redistributing. Product binaries, owner data, credentials, private captures and campaign/review archives are absent. Product and third-party licenses remain independently applicable. No registry publication is part of this release preparation.

Download Architect or Operator when service is enabled; verify against their sidecars under /releases/0.1.0-developer-preview/. The same directory’s SHA256SUMS covers Skills and native packages. MIT permits redistribution with the notice; native product distribution restrictions do not apply to these separate text packages.
